Apple has released DVD Studio Pro 4.1.1, an update to its professional DVD authoring software for Mac OS X. The 2.3MB update is available for download from Apple's Web site.
A component of Apple's Final Cut Studio package, DVD Studio Pro lets users author in Standard Definition (SD) or High Definition (HD), and features advanced scripting controls, the ability to build interactive titles and sophisticated graphics with motion menus, transitions and slideshow elements, surround sound including DTS and Dolby Digital, and more.
The new update fixes a problem with disc layout for Disc Descriptor Protocol (DDP) and Cutting Master Format (CMF) images on Intel-based Macs, according to Apple. Apple recommends that all users of DVD Studio Pro 4.1 upgrade to the new version.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.4 or later and DVD Studio Pro 4.1.
